Period 3: 1931-1945
At this point in time, America was suffering a Great Depression, mostly due to the stock market crashing in 1929. On top of that, the American Midwest was suffering a drought and due to outdated farming practices, had destroyed the land completely, causing massive dust storms. Art and photographs of the 1930s reflects upon this gloomy time.
In 1941, the US decided to join in World War Two, since the Japanese had bombed the naval base at Pearl Harbor. This allowed for several pieces of propaganda to arise, and America entered the nuclear age.
